Who we are
PhotoGR is operated by Alain Picard IT Solutions (“we”, “us”). Alain Picard IT Solutions is responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
The short version
PhotoGR edits your photographs inside your browser. Your photographs, projects and recipes are not uploaded to our servers. We only store what is needed to run your account and subscription.
Your photographs and projects
Images you open are decoded, edited and exported on your device. Your latest project and saved recipes are stored in your browser’s local storage (IndexedDB) on that device. You can remove them at any time from the studio or by clearing this site’s data in your browser. Exported images exclude GPS location and camera EXIF metadata. Project backups (.photogr files) contain your original file, including any metadata it carries, and are saved only where you choose.
Account information
When you create an account we process your email address, name (if provided), and sign-in details through our authentication provider, Clerk. We use this to sign you in, secure your account and tie your subscription to you.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We receive your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, subscription status and renewal dates, which we use to grant Premium access. Stripe’s privacy policy applies to the payment information you give them.
Hosting and logs
The website is hosted on Vercel. Like most web services, our hosting provider processes technical request data such as IP address, browser type and request times to deliver and protect the service. We do not use advertising trackers.
Cookies
We use cookies that are strictly necessary for signing in and keeping your session secure. We do not use cookies for advertising.
Retention and deletion
You can delete your account at any time from Manage account. Deleting your account cancels any active subscription. Billing records may be kept as required by tax and accounting law. Data stored in your browser stays on your device until you remove it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. Contact us at the support address listed on this website and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
